INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION It runs along the railroad projected at the end of the 19th century, following the collapse of one of the tunnels in 1971, it closed permanently in 1973.
Currently the road has been restored and is part of the network of Greenways in Spain is reserved exclusively for ecological tourism, the most spectacular section is the one carried out today. The landscape is very much enjoyed and it is an ideal excursion to do with friends or family.
The route passes through Bot stopping at the hermitage of Fontcalda, where we will make a stop to refresh ourselves in the river, we will continue the route until we reach Xerta where we will end, it runs in a total of 20 tunnels and 5 viaducts.
It is a route of 25 kilometers that does not pose any difficulty because it has a slight downhill slope practically from beginning to end, so there are times when you do not even need to pedal.
